Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani  is a 2013 Indian romantic drama film, directed by Ayan Mukerji, written by Mukerji and Hussain Dalal, and produced by Karan Johar. It stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in roles. This is their second film together after 2008's Bachna Ae Haseeno. Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur play supporting roles. Madhuri Dixit appears in an item number with Ranbir Kapoor. Initially set for a March 2013 release, the film was released on 31 May 2013. Upon release, it was a box office success. In the 59th Filmfare Awards, the film received the highest number of nominations including Best Film, Best Actor for Kapoor, Best Direction for Mukherji, Best Supporting Actor for Kapur, Best Supporting Actress for Koechlin and so on. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has become one of the highest grossing Indian films of all time.Its the second film to cross 300cr Worldwide after 3 Idiots. It was also the tenth highest grossing Bollywood film in overseas markets up until then.

Storyline: Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is the story of the relationship between two characters, Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor) & Naina (Deepika Padukone), at two separate but defining times in their lives… first, when they are just out of college and standing on the crossroads of multiple decisions that will shape who and what they become… and then later on, in their late-twenties when they meet again, holding on to certain fulfilled and certain unfulfilled dreams, at a crossroads of another nature this time… how these two characters affect, change, befriend and eventually fall in love with each other is the journey the film aspires to take us on…

Kabeera is one of the best songs of YJHD. The song is not just good with music, but the lyrics of the song are superb as well. Amitabh Bhattacharya has tried to do away with cliches like 'mitti ki sondhi khushboo' for a village and talks about the broken cot and milk cream, which are even more down to earth and true to village culture. He uses 'Nirmohee' once again, after Coke Studio's Nirmohiya. So overall, a beautiful number to listen to.
